37歲的西畠清順是日本最有名的園藝師，家族世代從事與植物相關的工作。作為亞洲唯一的“植物獵人”，他肩負尋找珍稀植物和藥材的使命，從21歲入行至今，幾乎走遍地球的角角落落，多次遭遇生命危險，但這些對他來說卻是最幸福的體驗：“植物是我的全部，我一直都在路上，讓我休息，簡直生不如死。” Seijun Nishihata, 37 years old, is the most renowned gardener in Japan. His family has been doing plant-related jobs for generations, and he now works as the only plant hunter in Asia, searching for rare plants and herbs. Since he started the career at 21, he has been to almost every corner of the world, risking his life for a couple of times. But for him, those trips are the happiest experiences. “Plant is everything to me. I’ve been on the road all along. I’d rather die than have a rest.”
